Rehab Day 2
A quieter day today.
Two things:
-
Group PT Therapy, which consisted of movement with light weights from a seated position. The high point here was that I was seated next to Helen, who turned 100 years old a week ago and was sharp as a tack.
-
Happy Hour, where I had a single beer and witnessed the western jazz stylings of Doris and Jerry, two local musicians. I joke, but these two each played multiple instruments and had their set list down cold. They were pros.
There was also an amazing nap.
And a lot of journaling. I've been writing a lot. My brain has a lot of free time and is ranging far and wide. I have many thoughts, mostly about what I want to do differently when I am out of here. Writing them down helps. I need to put them somewhere.
While I've had a good day, I'm feeling a little down tonight. I have no idea what to do with myself over the weekend while the therapists are gone. Guess I'll just try to stay on top of my exercises.
